*Mushy Love*

I couldn't keep this to myself.

Dan threw a piece of paper at me, ran outside to his quad and took off raising his fist in the air like he'd claimed some long awaited victory.

Confused I watched as he rode off into the dusty sunshine, retreating back to my seat on the deck to examine the paper he pegged me with.

This is what I found scrawled inside:

"To my Baby.
This is just a note to remind you of how much your Dude loves you and cherishes you.

I love that my place is by your side keeping you safe from danger.

Sheltered from storms. Dry from rain. Away from sufferring and pain.

I love that your place is next to me.

Keeping me clean.

Nourished.

Checking up on my idiocy at times.

Keeping me warm.

Keeping me safe (possibly from myself).

There is no safer place then in the middle of God's perfect plan for us and with you in my life, in my heart, I know we're there.

Flowers or dinners or presents cannot show you my love for you, I only hope that as I work unto the Lord in all I do, that you'll know that you have provision and shelter.

When we go for walks or drives, you'll know your the only person I want to be doing it with.

And when I look at you, I hope you'll know of the love I have for you inside me.

Though I maybe retarded at showing my love in romantic gestures and lavish gifts, my love is undying and enduring through all things.

If you are permanently maimed or injured, I'll be there.

If you lose your mind, I'll be there.

And when we grow old together, we'll throw cats at teenagers.

Lots of everything to do with love and romance Baby Boo.
